The ECHO II Project is a pioneering initiative demonstrating inclusive education in all its forms.
project integrates disability inclusion into the radio education program, aiming to address the needs of children with disabilities and provide them with necessary accessible aids, enabling them to thrive in a standard classroom setting.
In partnership with UNICEF, ECHO is implementing this life-changing project through the Foundation for Inclusive Education (FIED) in select divisions of the South West Region of Cameroon. FIED is committed to extending inclusive education to hard-to-reach communities.
A key component of this project is building the capacity of facilitators working with ECHO II on fundamental principles of disability inclusion and proper identification using the Washington Group’s standard set of questions.
