FIED invites qualified and experienced candidates to submit Expressions of Interest for the position of Program Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programmes and projects.
• Ensure programme activities are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with approved work plans.
• Coordinate project teams, partners, stakeholders and beneficiaries.
• Develop and oversee programme budgets, implementation schedules and performance indicators.
• Prepare programme reports and ensure compliance with donor and organisational requirements.
• Support resource mobilisation, proposal development and partnership building.
• Conduct regular field monitoring visits and provide technical support to project staff.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting and knowledge management for all programme activities.

Eligibility Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Education, Public Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience managing programmes within NGOs, development projects or humanitarian organisations.
• Strong knowledge of project cycle management, monitoring and evaluation, and donor compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and report writing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Evaluation Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on qualifications, experience, technical competence, leadership ability, programme management experience and capacity to achieve expected results.

Compliance Clause

The selected Program Manager shall comply with FIED policies, procedures and donor requirements. Failure to meet reporting, coordination and programme delivery obligations may constitute grounds for performance review or contract termination.

The successful candidate shall maintain confidentiality of all organisational and programme information and comply with applicable safeguarding, anti-fraud and anti-corruption requirements.
