A New Dawn for Children in the South West Region, Cameroon
The University of Buea, in partnership with UNICEF and in collaboration with FIED and other partners, has successfully launched the Child Rights Center on the UB campus. This center will serve as a beacon of hope for child-centered issues across all sectors.
The UNICEF Representative for Cameroon was present at the ceremony. The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buea officiated the event, which was also attended by representatives from various government ministries. NASLA was equally represented.
This center is a pivotal milestone and will go a long way in advocating for and protecting the rights of children, in consonance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC).
